My wife and I chose to settle in Glastonbury for its excellent schools, open spaces and small town feel. Vital to Glastonbury’s success is maintaining this delicate balance while encouraging responsible development and wisely managing town finances to ensure a fair and reasonable tax burden for the families that call this town home. I am running for town council to help this town move into the future while maintaining what makes it great. Contact me at email@example.com.
With the so much uncertainty at the State level, it is important that we have strong leadership at the town level. I will use my background in program and budget management to ensure we manage our limited budget effectively to maintain the great aspects of our town. As a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals since 2016 I work to make the Town’s process be transparent and fair. I will continue to utilize my background in construction development to hold onto Glastonbury’s green and wooded spaces, lovely homes, and a vibrant downtown. I am a seven-year resident of Glastonbury who deeply values what a great community we have. For this reason I want to get more involved in our town governance. Professionally I am an economist and budget analyst, with an understanding of the fiscal issues and economic pressures the state is facing. I wish to bring my knowledge and skills to help Glastonbury prepare for the future and continue to thrive as a place to live, work, and play.

I am a lifelong resident of Glastonbury and have been a member of the Glastonbury Fire Dept. for over 30 years. I had a 22 year career in the Dept. of Corrections and currently have a small business in Glastonbury. I hope to bring my experience and knowledge to the board of fire commissioners.
I wish to be able to give back to the community that has been my home for the past 20 years, and to help in making it a continually growing and vibrant community not only for ourselves, but for generations to come. I will use my 25 years of municipal experience to be sure that we use our limited tax dollars as wisely as possible, and my technical experience to ensure that we reap the full benefits of our technology investments. Growing up in a family of educators who were always heavily involved in town politics, I learned the importance of supporting my town. I plan to do what is necessary to insure that our taxes and town budget is spent wisely, so that Glastonbury continues to be one of the best towns for our children to be educated and to live in.
