I will continue to fight to preserve our town’s excellent education system and provide pragmatic educational leadership to move us forward. During my eight years on the Board and in the leadership position of Board Secretary the last two years, I strongly supported transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in the Board’s operations. Please feel free to contact me with your questions or concerns at 860-306-0602 or email@example.com.
On the Board the last eight years, I have employed a determined attitude to support parents in their pursuit of educational excellence for their children. I will continue to provide a voice for small class sizes and educational excellence. As Curriculum Committee chair and Facilities Committee co-chair, I have worked diligently to ensure that our students are taught the information and skills they need to succeed in today’s world in a physical environment that is conducive to learning. I also championed a number of effective educational initiatives that saved taxpayers millions of dollars. For more information on where I stand on the educational issues, see dougfoyle.wordpress.com.
In my time in office, whether citizens phoned, emailed, or spoke at a Board meeting, I’ve listened, responded, and integrated their concerns into my decisions. I will continue to use citizen input and my best judgment to move education forward.
