
Lisa Furbush was elected to her first term on the Glastonbury Board Education on November 6, 2007. She is the Executive Office Manager of JRH Asset Management in Hartford, which manages and budgets for multi-million dollar properties in Connecticut and the Southeast belt. She was previously a Religion teacher at Mercy High School in Middletown.
Lisa is currently a doctoral student in Hartford Seminary and the head volleyball coach for St. Joseph’s College. She is the secretary of Glen Lochen II Condo Association in Glastonbury. She states, “I ran for the Board of Education to help find a balance which will ensure our children’s future while addressing budget issues that are the reality of every school district.”
Lisa is the director/coordinator for the high school student visits to the Nation’s Capital with the assistance of Congressman John Larson.
