Steve Cassano is a trusted leader in the State of Connecticut.

As a former Mayor of Manchester for 14 years, Steve has brought his experience to the State Capitol to represent the towns of Andover, Bolton, Glastonbury and Manchester.

As Chair of the Government Administration and Elections Committee, Vice Chair of the Planning and Development Committee and an active member of both the Transportation and Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committees, Steve takes on a leadership role, works with all parties and gets things done.

Steve works with leadership in the legislative and executive branches to meet multiple responsibilities related to state government. He is known as a hard-worker with the ability to bring people together. Steve is a well-respected and active member of the General Assembly.

Steve is a former Sociology professor at Manchester Community College. He and his wife Holly live in Manchester along with their dog Fenway.
